Welcome to Abyssal Outpost, a sci-fi adventure where we explore the alien oceans of No Man's Sky. Our first mission is to scout the galaxy for the perfect aquatic world and construct a futuristic underwater base.

Abyssal Outpost - Phase 01: Exploration Mission Objectives

Mission Briefing:

Our first goal is to explore the galaxy and identify the perfect ocean world for building the Abyssal Outpost. Each player will venture into the unknown, scanning alien seas and charting potential base locations. Over the course of multiple sessions, we’ll collect data, compare findings, and select the ideal location for our deep-sea base.

Phase 01 Objectives: Planet Prospecting

1. 🌌 Find a Star System with Water Worlds

  • Warp to multiple systems and locate planets with large oceans.
  • Scan the planet’s biomes and note its climate, gravity, and hazards.

2. 🔬 Analyze Underwater Conditions

  • Scan for unique aquatic life and resources.
  • Identify safe zones (low sentinel activity, no aggressive fauna).
  • Locate thermal vents or deep-sea trenches for a visually stunning outpost.

3. 📡 Survey for Base Resources & Strategic Location

  • Check for nearby landmasses to establish supply routes.
  • Identify underwater mineral deposits for future base-building.
  • Ensure the planet has Portal Access for easy travel.

4. 🚀 Report & Vote on the Ideal Outpost Location

  • Each explorer submits their top candidate with coordinates and findings.

~3-5 sessions

Recommended Tools:

Exocraft Submarines, Nautilon Sonar, Planetary Scanners

Recommended Settings:

Reduce or remove material costs for fuel in order to travel as far as needed.

End Goal:

Select the official site of the Abyssal Outpost.
